Gourmandise: a love of, or taste for good food.

Goumandises (plural): delectable delicacies.

Welcome to Gourmandises by Jeanne Kessira - a food anthropologist, fermentation educator, and dinner party host. Of French heritage, she was raised in Manhattan and is now based in London, after completing a MA in Anthropology of Food at SOAS in 2016. Her professional career has taken her in various directions, all within the food and hospitality sectors in London and the UK.

When she’s not teaching culinary courses, she’s working to bring about positive change in the hospitality industry with Countertalk, or hosting nourishing dinner parties with & the Table.
